Pottery clay and pottery stone, which are indispensable for making ceramics, are limited resources created by the earth over a long period of time. In order to continue to use this precious resource with care, a group of volunteer companies in Mino have created a recycling system for ceramics and porcelain. By crushing pottery into small pieces and mixing them with new ceramic clay, once-fired vessels can be used as raw materials to make new vessels again. This mug is made from this material.
